The
nephew of Mr Plevin of Les Vaux, St Lawrence.
After training in Ireland and Aldershot he went to the front with the Jersey Company in December 1915. In March the following year he attended courses on bombing (hand grenades) and sniping. Served through 1916 winning a Parchment Certificate for bravery in July or August. Killed in action during the fighting at Guillemont in September 1916.
