The son
of Mary, who died when he was two years old. Prior to the war he lived
in Columbus Street, St Helier and worked as a messenger.
The son of Mary Elizabeth De La Lande. In January 1916, whilst in the trenches, he contracted a bronchial illness and was evacuated to Shorncliffe Military Hospital in Dublin for treatment. Such was the severity of his condition, in April in he was discharged from the Army. On returning to Jersey, his condition did not improve and he died in May.
