The son
of Thomas and Rachael, of Les Mouettes, St Clement. At the time of the
war his family was living in Colomberie, St Helier.
After serving at the front through 1916 and 1917, he transferred with the rest of the Jersey Company to 2nd Hampshires in January1918. Reportedly in hospital in March that year, he suffered minor wounds in October and November. Discharged from the Army in March 1919.
