(Possibly) The son of Charles and Elsie, of La Pouquelaye, St Helier.

Trained as a stretcher bearer in June 1915. In March 1916 he contracted "Trench Fever" and was evacuated to England as a result. It is not clear whether he ever returned to active service again, but was discharged from the Army to chest problems in December 1917.
