The son
of Henry and Mary, of Columbus Street, St Helier.
He was evacuated to hospital suffering "Trench Fever" in May 1916. Treated at Lakenheath Military Hospital in Suffolk. He may not have returned to duty with the Jersey Company, but did serve in the Labour Corps. Discharged from the Army in March 1919.
