son of John and Maria, of Le Houx, Guernsey. Prior to the war he lived
at Mont Les Vaux, St Aubin.
After going to the front with the Jersey Company in December 1915, he fell ill four months later and evacuated for treatment in England. As a result of condition he was discharged from the Army in October 1916.
