The son
of Lawrence and Margaret, of Aquila Road, St Helier. His brother Frederick
also served with the Jersey Company.
Called 'Frank', he was already serving with 7th Royal Irish Rifles when the Jersey Company arrived at Buttevant in March 1915. Thereafter, he appears to have become a member of the Jersey Company. A keen athlete, he took part in several Battalion sporting events, winning the quarter mile on St Patrick's Day in March 1916. At some point in 1917, he appears to have left the Jersey Company. Reports state that he was died in January 1917, although corroboration of this not found in some official sources.
